The Sad Tale of the Lost Bacon

When you have a sudden craving for a certain food there is nothing that can stop you. I would hope in my car and drive 10 minutes down the road to get some of my favorite buffalo wings.

What happens when you get your food that you were craving and it isn’t what you wanted. Maybe they added tomatoes or maybe them forgot something. When there is something forgotten you have to play the game in your head of do you really want to go back? Do you really want to get back into that car? Do you really want to tell them that they were wrong? Usually I say never mind maybe next time they are human after all.

Jasmine Alicea wrote a poem of such tragic and heart aching tale that we all know to well.  Go through the tale with her explaining how a diner hurt her not only once but twice with the lose of bacon.

A Magical Podcast That Will Slay You

I listen to a lot of podcasts that range to intelligent to down right shameful. Hello from the Magic Tavern is one of the dirtiest pleasures I have found in a long time. Each minute of hysterical commentary I pray that my headphones don’t become unplugged at work.
magictavern

This podcast is set in a “fictional” world of Foon that is filled with elves, dwarves, wizards, and anything else you can imagine. The main character is called Arnie who fell through a magical dimensional portal behind a Burger King in Chicago. He then found himself in this magical world. He then figured he had wi-fi and started making a podcast with his new found friends in the tavern Vermilion Minotaur.

His co-hosts are a shape-shifter that can only change in the times of sexual pleasure and a wizard that just wants people to join his quest to defeat the Dark Lord. There are always common phrases that Arnie uses that make no sense there or  something really dirty here is a common innocent phrase. The childish humor of butt jokes and verbiage brings me back to a simpler time of my life and I love it.

If you love inappropriate humor, role-play(sexually or not), and fantasy world setting with deep plot then this is a show for you. Listen to it on iTunes or from the website here.

New Free PSN Game to Fall For

Spluncker isn’t a new game. The original came out in 1983 on the Atari. It has made a comeback on the PSN.

Square Enix has just released a free-to-play version and it is a great time. I have been playing it for the past week and it has been fun.

The solo play is okay but playing with others is the best. You can play up to 6 others and that is what really hooked me.

This is no game of Mario though. You can’t just jump around or you will kill yourself… a lot. However, you have to jump off of all mechanisms that you might cross or you die. Lets just say you will die many many times and that is why you should play with others.

Last note, don’t be a jerk and work as a team. I give this a 7 out of 10.

Making a Binger

I watch a lot of Netflix. I watch some good shows and some really really terrible ones (Adam Sandler’s “The Ridiculous Six” being the best worst movie I’ve seen in a while).

There is a new Netflix original that is really taking the world by storm. “Making a Murderer” is one of the greatest documentaries I have seen in some time. It opens up what the media would consider an open shut case to its bare bones.

It all starts with a man named Steven Avery who was accused of a rape in his home town. They show how he was in and out of jail all his life but was getting it together. The police officers all thought he was the rapest even though the evidence pointed another man who had a history of this sort of activity. He then gets out of jail because of new DNA evidence and the cops are pissed that he then sues them for 38 million dollars. Yes, $38,000,000! To me that sounds about the right amount of money for being stripped of my freedom and dignity.

A murder then happens and the cops come straight to knocking on his door. He had nothing to hide so he let them in and the rest goes from there.

Like I have said it was an amazing documentary where I went back and forth with emotions of did he do it. I admit that I was down right hooked from the first episode. I’m not proud to say it (yes I am)but I finished that show in 2 days. My last thought is he didn’t do it. All the evidence brought forth shows that to my belief but what do you think?
